September Newsletter

Greetings! I hope this message reached you and yours doing well, prosperous and profitable.

Since our last correspondence, the board of directors and I have been hard at work. We have made many significant strides, forging new relationships in the best interest of our organization and members. I have a few items to give an update on as well as a few items of interest and opportunity. As always, if I can be of service to you, don’t hesitate to call or email.

WELCOME: NEW MEMBERS OF THE BOARD

The board of directors are focussed on three things:  1) build the board, 2) build membership, 3) produce a world class PRIDE. Last month, five outstanding individuals were nominated and welcomed to the board.

  • Rick Holmberg, Freescale
  • Beth Whalen, Edward Jones
  • Daryl Putnam
  • Tracy Kasparek, Attorney at Law
  • De Humphries, 360 signs

You can look forward to meeting them at the next AGLCC meeting.

PRIDE 2010: COMMUNITY STAKEHOLDER MEETING

Please plan to attend the PRIDE 2010 Community Stakeholder meeting on October 12, at 7pm, location TBD. Learn of the plans for the parade and festival and have an opportunity to get involved in the process. Austin PRIDE is encouraging your input to help us make our festival and parade a success.
