Forward Austin

Forward Austin is the first ever magazine produced by a gay and lesbian chamber of commerce.  Focused on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered (LGBT) business topics, Forward aims to educate, entertain, and promote the gay and gay friendly business community.
 
Who should read Forward?
Not just for those in the LGBT community, Forward is for any professional or business owner who is gay, has gay employees, or has gay clients... and that's everyone!
 
Who advertises in Forward?
All of the advertisers in the magazine are members of the Austin Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.  These are not just gay-owned businesses... the AGLCC welcomes all busineses who are supportive of the LGBT community.  This also makes Forward the only business publication in Austin where all of the profits generated are reinvested back in the community.  Advertisers in Forward not only show that they support those who support them, but also that they support the community as a whole!

Advertising
Ad rates include membership to the Austin Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.  Existing AGLCC members receive a $125 discount on their ads.  Neither membership nor advertising is limited to gay-owned businesses.  Any business with gay employees, with gay customers, or that wants to show their support of the community is welcome.  Advertising in Forward will not only show LGBT businesses and individuals in Austin that you support them, but also that you support the community as a whole! All AGLCC members get a listing in the back of the quarterly magazine.  The simple three-line listing is included in the cost of the annual membership
 
Distribution
The publication has a subscriber list of nearly 1500 business owners and community leaders in addition to distribution at locations across Austin.  The magazine will also be distributed at LGBT events throughout the year like the HRC Gala in January, the Austin Pride Parade in June, and the AIDS Walk in October.  Publication schedule is tentatively March 1st, June 1st, September 1st, December 1st.  For more information, contact advertising@forwardaustin.com or visit Forward Austin.
