For those interested in learning about building floats or organizing entries, there is a Parade Participant Workshop on Saturday, May 17 at 1 PM at the Sheraton Austin on 11 th and IH-35.

Mr. and Ms. Austin Pride Pageant
 The first annual Mr. & Ms. Austin Pride Pageant was a resounding success! Held at Club CP last Saturday, we had two amazing contestants competing in evening wear, question and answer, and talent rounds. After tough deliberations, Victoria Price was victorious and will ride in the Pride Parade as the inaugural Ms. Austin Pride!
Aetna joins the AGLCC
Aetna has joined the AGLCC as a Diamond Partner and is the presenting sponsor of the 7th Annual Pride Parade . Aetna demonstrated its support for the LGBT community when it rolled out small business health insurance plans in April that included domestic partner benefits. Aetna has partnered with the AGLCC to help spread the word about this exciting development.
