AGLCC Business Expo
Our annual AGLCC Business Expo will be held at the ASA 20th AIDS Walk on October 28th. This is a fantastic opportunity for any LGBT business reach a cross-section of Austinites both gay and gay-friendly. There are only a few spaces left, so be sure to get your booth application in today! The deadline for booth reservations is October 12th. Contact tourism@aglcc.org for questions.

Moving Forward to Winter...
Not one to rest on our laurels, production for the winter issue of Forward is already underway. The issue will cover money and finance in the LGBT community and the power of the Gay Dollar. Distribution for this issue will include many holiday events as well as the HRC Gala in January. Don't miss out on advertising in this coming issue, especially if your business uses money in any way. Advertising deadline is November 1st.
AGLCC on the Road
Board President, Jimmy Flannigan and Tourism Chair, Edgar Gierbolini were in Dallas last month representing the AGLCC in the Dallas Pride Parade. We received fantastic crowd response, being one of the few organizations making the trip to Dallas to participate. Next up, Jimmy will be representing the AGLCC at the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner being held in Washington, DC in November.
Save the Date! December 13th
The AGLCC Annual Holiday Party will be held on December 13th at the Omni Hotel Southpark. Tickets are $45 for members, $50 for non-members. Stay tuned for more details on the program and entertainment for the evening.
Call for board nominations
Board elections will be held at the November dinner meeting on November 13 at the Doubletree. The following board positions are up for election: Vice President, Treasurer, Membership and At-Large 2. The nominating committee is pleased to have J. Erik Weidig (WAMU) returning as Vice President, Amy Cook, CPA for Treasurer, Ceci Gratias returning as Membership Chair, and Victoria Graham (Dell) returning as At Large 2.
