If you missed Adelina Anthony's standing (and sitting in the isles) room-only performance of Mastering Sex & Tortillas last year, now is your time to redeem yourself! Descending upon us like Texas heat, Adelina Anthony is coming back for more with the Texas premier of La Angry Xicana. Come take a wild ride through Queerlandia-Xicana style! With trademark salacious, brazen, Spanglish humor, Adelina flirts with all kinds of cultural taboos from the purported Lesbian Gang Epidemic to queered religious icons to the semi-sacred courtship that happens only among queer womyn of color. (Oh, and people, she's really not angry.. she's just getting even!) La Angry Xicana isn't for the weak of heart or bladder. Expect to roll, giggle, stomp a few times and hide from lightning bolts as the girl your mother warned you about let's us have it. Linguistically challenged in the ever-evolving Spanglish realm? No worries.. surely a cute someone will be there to translate. If not, just laugh along and nobody will know!
