Austin Community College - Gay-Straight Alliance The goal of the Gay-Straight Alliance at Austin Community College is to make the entire ACC district safe and welcoming to all students regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. We participate in national campaigns to raise awareness such as the Day of Silence, No Name Calling Week, National Coming Out Day, and other locally organized campaigns. The Gay-Straight Alliance promotes activism, education, and volunteerism as a way to develop strong leaders within our community.
