AGLCC Committees

We are growing and changing the way we are governed. Our board has decided to adopt a committee structure to make recommendations to the board. The committees below will consist of board directors as well as general members. Members will apply to serve on the committee for 12 months. Each committee will meet 4-6 times in 2017 unless otherwise noted. Serving on a committee is a pathway to serving on the board.

Committees and their composition and areas of responsibilities are listed below:

Ambassador Committee

Ambassadors are AGLCC members on steroids! They attend orientations, ribbon cuttings and mixers. They are so special that they get their pictures on our website. They let people know about our programs and resources, and act as a buddy for new members, reaching out to the newbie, personally inviting them to an upcoming event, and introducing them to other members. Serving as an ambassador is a pathway to serving on the board.
