The AGLCC strives to provide programming that benefits our membership as well as the LGBT community at large.
The AGLCC has partnered with key organizations to facilitate coordination of events, resources, volunteers, and marketing across the entire LGBT community. The Coalition represents an unprecedented level of cooperation which will prove to make the community stronger by leveraging the economic resources of the Chamber; reducing operating costs, developing stronger programming and events, and enabling a strong, cohesive LGBT community.

Austin’s single largest LGBT event, the AGLCC Pride Parade offers businesses many unique opportunities to reach the LGBT community. With an average of 40,000 spectators and over 1000 participants, the AGLCC Pride Parade
reaches a large, diverse, visible community with high discretionary dollars.

Austin oldest LGBT publication, Forward Austin targets Austin's gay and gay-friendly business community. The magazine was launched in February 2007 and since has seen readership more than double to more than 1400 subscribers and over 4000 copies distributed quarterly. Forward Austin is the first and only magazine in the nation published by a Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.

Our networking events provide unique opportunities for gay and gay-friendly professionals to connect and work together. Our evening meetings typically have between 40 and 75 participants, and our luncheons are a more intimate 20-30 attendees.
