The Board of Directors of the Austin Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (AGLCC) welcomes you to our online directory and resources. The AGLCC members located in the online directory possess a progressive vision to support our community with the highest standard of integrity.

AGLCC is a not-for-profit business organization [501 (c)(6)] promoting networking, education, and support for gay and gay-friendly businesses and professionals, thereby contributing to the advocacy of the gay community. Supporting these businesses in turn support our community.

In recent years, AGLCC has made several changes that has given the Chamber more exposure and in turn gave our members more exposure to potential clients and customers:

2002 marked the first Annual AGLCC Pride Parade, which has been very successful with nearly 45,000 in attendance in 2008. Participation continues to increase exponentially for this event with planning underway for the 8^th anniversary of the AGLCC Pride Parade in 2009.
Annual Business Expo/Nonprofit Expo attracts more than 5000 attendees. With this event, our business members and nonprofit members gain valuable exposure to potential clients/customers.
A member directory is printed and distributed annually at several locations and events throughout the year.
Monthly newsletter reaches more than 700 individuals and organizations. Business card size ads or inserts may be placed for a monthly fee or are included with select membership package.
Website averages 100,000+ hits per month. The online membership directory represents more than 75% of the website traffic.
Monthly meetings and frequent socials provide invaluable face-to-face networking, and a means to discuss business needs and ideas. The monthly meets now average 40+ people.
AGLCC has joined InterPride each year since 2002. InterPride is the International Association of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Coordinators.
In 2004, AGLCC became one of the founding members of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce.
AGLCC supports non-profit organizations by promoting their events on the AGLCC website and/or in the monthly newsletters as well as exposure at the Annual Business Expo/Nonprofit Expo.
