  • Most Valuable Volunteer - Carlos Chacon
A community member who has gone above and beyond as a volunteer, helping the AGLCC with planning and at events. This member exemplifies the “I can do that” attitude.

  • Carlos Chacon

Ever wondered who that guy is who is always at check-in or taking pictures? That's Carlos! He has stepped in to help time and time again to assist the Chamber at events (even at short notice). Carlos has become an invaluable asset to the AGLCC!

  • Casey Jordan

Casey Jordan stepped in to help the Chamber secure cars for the Pride Parade. Not one, not two, but three of the cutest little Fiats you've ever seen. And that good looking guy driving the snazzy one in the middle? Yep, that was Casey!

  • Frank Andrew

Frank initially began volunteering for the chamber as part of a school project, then we wouldn't let him leave. He didn't seem to object as he has stayed on and even brought in additional volunteers to help us at events. Plus he's incredibly cute!

  • Jeff Arnold

Jeff Arnold has stepped up to help the Chamber with The Agenda and advertising sales. With his help, the last Agenda sold out for the very first time. Thanks, Jeff!

  • PostNet Far West

PostNet Far West has consistently provided the Chamber with deeply discounted printing services and sneaks on specials. What most don’t realize is how much PostNet has given to the Chamber in free printing throughout the year.

  • therepubliq

therepubliq has donated countless hours of design and layout work to make The Agenda possible.

  • Social Media Diva - Law Office of Kelley J. Dwyer, PLLC

  • Law Office of Kelley J. Dwyer, PLLC

Kelley is probably our most prolific sharer/retweeter of all our membership. Her promotion of the Chamber and its events are only rivaled by her cat pictures. Love you, Kelley!

  • PostNet Far West

PostNet Far West (and Scott) not only is a consistent sharer/retweeter but has also created original content based on the work they have done for the chamber. Plus, their products make the Chamber look really good!

  • OutCast Austin

OutCast Austin has consistently featured the chamber in its programming and frequently promotes chamber events.

  • The Care Communities

The Care Communities was the first non-profit member in many moons to host an event at their offices. It also made a point to use Chamber members as vendors for their very successful 2013 fundraiser.

  • Member of the Year - PostNet Far West
Chamber member who combines the volunteer, the provider, the promoter, the referrer and the ambassador. This member exemplifies the ideal chamber member and is an example of what we all can achieve through chamber membership.

  • Law Office of Kelley J. Dwyer, PLLC

Kelley is the total package in a straight ally. Kelley promotes chamber events and activities through social media, was a 2nd year distributor of the gay dollars at Pride, one of the first advertisers in The Agenda and a strong advocate for the LGBT business community.

  • Midtown Independence Title

Midtown has become the unofficial home of the AGLCC providing meeting space and other office services. In addition, they were certified as an LGBT Business Enterprise last year and were the only Chamber member to attend the NGLCC conference in Dallas this past summer. Midtown has also shown its dedication to the community by consistently supporting organizations including volunteering for the AGLCC at PRIDE; sponsoring many community events; and sharing its resources to Austin Tennis Club, HRC Austin, etc.

  • PostNet Far West

Even beyond the assistance they have provided by promoting the AGLCC via social media and assisting the Chamber with printing and banner production, PostNet has been a constant presence at our monthly networking events, be it Scott Jarvis or one of his co-workers. They represent a combination of the best of chamber membership... promotion, donation, and attendance.

  • therepubliq

therepubliq has been that quiet strength in the Chamber. Chase, owner of therepubliq have donated countless hours to aid in production of The Agenda, consistently shares AGLCC events on social media and was the other half of the partnership that made the SxSW #BigGay Kickoff party a huge success.
